Regular city water can affect beer chemistry such as taste, aroma, mouthfeel, and appearance. The Pro-RO-I is a 4 stage reverse osmosis system that incorporates a sediment filter, carbon block, membrane, and an additional carbon block to polish the finished product. This system provides customizable recirculation in the event that the Brew Master would like to blend minerals that come from hard water into the filtered water to adjust water chemistry for different types of beers. Building a water profile is possible through the use of the stainless steel needle valves, which can accurately adjust levels Another key feature is the built-in Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) meter available through the control panel. Measuring TDS is crucial in making sure the chemistry is perfect otherwise, each batch of beer may taste, look, and smell differently from each other.
