We started having issues with our well water smelling of blood the iron content was so high, and also sulfur smell. We have no idea how old our old filter was so we ordered this for a replacement and our iron level is now virtually non-existent and the sulfur smell is gone. Easy installation!
System arrived when promised and installed the same day. Prior to installing, we could not even brush our teeth because of the smell of the water. That is how bad it was and everything we tried before this, had very limited to no impact in eliminating the smell. After installing the Pro-Aqua system, the odor in the cold water went away immediately! The odor in the hot water went away after a couple of days once the water in the tank was completely replenished. It has been 3 weeks since the system was installed and still no odor at all. The installation was very straightforward and fairly easy with supplied 'options' for connections being very helpful . The only suggestion is that it would be better if the 2 "flexible" connection hoses were much more flexible as while they work, the metal is very hard to 'form' into a shape other than straight or just a 90 degree. Would very highly recommend this system, priced very well and works very well.

This is the second 80000 grain water softener I have purchased from you guys. Due to a planed vacation I haven't installed this new unit yet. The first unit is working great!!
The parts may be fine, but I haven't seen them yet since PA shipped them, arriving 3-Sep at an address, which I had advised PA that we would depart that campground on 2-Sep.
Another review mentioned the amount of water the flush/replenishment uses. 125-175 gallons. Every 3 days I believe. That's a good bit of water not only coming from your well, but if your nearest drain is like mine and goes into the septic...you may dilute it. I didn't know how much water it uses when I bought it, since it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the product page (I asked a customer service rep during a moderate drought). I've got it bypassed now, either I'll need to pop a hole through my brick garage wall to put a drain that doesn't go into the septic, or I'll just be giving it away. Not super happy to have wasted so much on it.
That said, the filter makes the water taste & smell a bit better, but my water isn't terribly smelly or bad tasting. It didn't get rid of the orange in my shower/toilets/sinks though.

Easy replacement, After changeout, I would have expected the softness test to be very soft water but it read out at the bottom end of the soft scale. I didn't expect that because the well water in our current campground it not that hard to begin with. Somewhat confused by that.

Great filter system as long as you can find filters for it, otherwise it’s worthless Ordered filters and they sent 20”, I look on this website and see the 19” gen 2 filters are SOLD OUT I don’t even see a 20” system for sale I could swap tanks with what size filters I can find.
The original filter only lasted a month. Then turned the water black. I had purchased two sets of replacement filters when I bought the Whole House filter system. So I changed it out with one of the replacement filters & it only lasted 6 days. They sent me a new filter and I put it in a week ago & it's still working fine. I will let you know how long it lasts.
Came broken/ chipped. They dont package the items very well.
